Similar material but some nice unused footage of New York street scenes, boy scouts marching through the street, Chinatown, a chair lift presumably in the Adirondack Mountains, buggy rides through Central Park, teenage girls in the fountain at Central Park. Nice sign which reads: "Troubadour Area. Guitars and other quiet unamplified music permitted 10a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. No Bongo Playing". Cut to (of course) beatnik playing the bongos. Kids playing in a fountain. Young groovers watching. Empire State Building. Barber giving a man a shave outside the "Tonsorial Parlor" in the Wild West town. Thick lather is applied then a sharp knife is used to shave him. Aerial shots of Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline. Scenes at JFK airport. Good shots of skyscrapers - some through "fish eye lens". Guggenheim museum. Ford Foundation. Statue of Liberty. Moving scenes of Manhattan seen from on board a boat. Chinatown. Pavement artists. People playing chess in the park. Buildings, skyscrapers, pavement cafes, Lincoln Centre, military parade at Rockefeller Centre, Central Park, boating lake, pavement cafe, cyclists, Adirondack Mountains, horse riding, wildlife, Wild West town, honeymoon couple arriving in Niagara, Hollywood Hills, nice shot of middle aged couple eating at a barbecue, neon lights, advertising in Times Square, nice night-time scenes of funfair ride, chipmunk nibbling a piece of bread, Niagara Falls, etc. FILM ID:463.12 A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
